So what's changed? The new EPG is focussed more on on demand shows and catch up, rather than just live channels.
Press the TV Guide button, and you'll see eight boxes: TV Guide, Planner, Catch-Up TV, TV Box Sets, New Series, Best of On Demand, Sky Movies On Demand, and Sky Store.
The new EPG retains the old one's familiar colour scheme and look.
The search function has been improved. You can now search by title, actor, event, channel, sport, or any other key word. It'll scour the guide to bring you results from live and on demand content.
The Sky+ app is also being refreshed to reflect the changes to the EPG. It'll feature the new Homepage along with a new highlights carousel. You'll also be able to turn your Sky+HD box on or off from your mobile or tablet.
More new features are in the pipeline, too. Soon the EPG will offer smarter recommendations based on what you've watched in the past.
The update is rolling out from today, and should reach all Sky customers by the end of May.
