Minecraft creator dumps Oculus after Facebook purchase

Minecraft

Persson – better known by his Minecraft name Notch – tweeted that the company had been working with Oculus to bring the game to the headset.
However, its purchase by Facebook had killed that.
“We were in talks about maybe bringing a version of Minecraft to Oculus. I just cancelled that deal,” Persson wrote on the micro-blogging site. “Facebook creeps me out.”
The move is likely to be a major blow to Facebook and Oculus. Facebook bought virtual reality firm Oculus for around $2 billion. The deal was announced last night.
Public reaction to the move has been overwhelmingly negative. It is unclear if this will be an isolated incident or whether other Oculus Rift developers will consider pulling support.
