Google Nexus 5
Don't
worry - we don't expect this phone to stick here for too long - it's
just a temporary glitch, we're sure. But while this is possibly the best
value phone on our list (the Moto G excepted) it does have a notable
flaw. You already know we like Android 4.4, the clever
implementation and the £299 price tag. We live the high power CPU, the
quality screen; even the rubberised outer shell. But we can't
forgive the poor battery life or substandard camera performance, no
matter the price. You can get the LG G2 for £100 more, and while that's
still a lot, it's not enough to mitigate the inability to rely on the
battery power for a full day.
